Requesting a balance transfer can be a convenient way to pay less in interest charges and consolidate what you owe into one monthly payment, subject to available credit and applicable fees, if any.
MBNA gives you two options for balance transfers:
You can transfer high-interest balances from other credit cards to your MBNA card,
Or you can use your available credit from an MBNA card to transfer funds to your personal chequing account, allowing you to quickly access your cash.
Need to request a balance transfer? Just follow these easy steps!
Log in to your MBNA account. From the My Accounts page, select one of the available options.
Next, select how you would like to make a balance transfer.
Want to transfer a balance to your MBNA card? For each credit card balance you would like to transfer, enter the card details, and transfer amount. Note that your transfer amount cannot exceed your available credit.
Select “Calculate totals”. Your total includes the balance transfer fee, if applicable. You can also see how much credit you’ll have remaining.
Read and agree to the terms and conditions. Pay attention to fees, if any, that may apply to your offer. When you’re ready, select “Confirm.”
You can also transfer funds using available credit from your MBNA card to your chequing account. You’ll need to enter your bank information, the amount to be transferred, and credit card details.
